If We Only Used One Adjective

What if we only used one adjective? How boring would that be!
I have been realizing lately that my vocabulary is actually quite small. One of my most commonly used descriptive words is creepy.
I did not totally realize the extent of my use of it until I heard the little girls I was babysitting use it. Now, when a two-year-old all the sudden exclaims, "That was CREEPY!!!", you wonder where in the world they heard that. That is when I realized how much I say that word.

From there on out everything was 'creepy' to her. I'm serious. She would bump into something and go, "Oh! My leg is so creepy!", and,  "Mom (she calls me 'mom' =D). You creepy!"
Then, just the other day, I was in the other room and I heard her in the living room yell,
"Hey! Come get me, you creepy guy!"
I nearly choked. She's so little and she just barely starting talking so you can understand her, and this is what she comes out with!

Unfortunately it was me who unknowingly got her going on the word and me who then explained to her mom -- who had informed me of this commonly used word by her girls -- what really was the reason.
It really got me thinking about what words I am saying that I am not aware of. Little kids pick up on those things that we don't. Words can be so powerful. They may mean something totally different than you think, or be used so often you can't even hear them any more.
There are so many words out there that can build us up, versus tearing us or others down. Why not use a broad range of words, namely adjectives since that's what I've been noticing lately, so that we can get our point across in a much more descriptive manner?!
I know I want to try, so that I won't have to feel bad hearing the little people around me using my one adjective =)

Happy 1st Hello!

I was told I really should start a blog and when I questioned that person on why one would start a blog (although it did sound intriguing, I wanted to kind of have a reason/point to it if I ever did), this is basically what he told me. Blogs are so that individuals can write about what they learn and discover in life so that other people reading could then learn something from that and be interested in those experiences themselves. It's also looking at simple, everyday things that may not seem very interesting to yourself, but hearing someone else say them from a different viewpoint which may just be exciting! I also think of blogging as a creative channel for writing and storytelling; both of which I greatly enjoy.
So, here I am, telling whoever cares to hear about me, my life, and the stuff that happens in it. I don't really do anything special or spectacular that necessarily makes me stand out from anyone else, although I can talk so much sometimes I think I ought to have my own talk show=)
Reading other people's inspiring blogs (that has been what made me want to have one of my own) is a favorite pastime of mine that I probably should back off a bit since it can be quite time-wasting.
My mind is almost always full of creative things that I wish to do, from drawing, playing a new piano piece, or sewing, to planning a fantastic party with my friends. This is what I wish to fill all my time with, but there are things that I need to do -- such a working -- that I do participate in since that is part of being a responsible adult =)
I learn something new pretty much every day, which can be encouraging because I'm actually learning, but also sometimes not particularly encouraging. So, since it's my nature to always be botching up some I'm doing and therefore hopefully learning how to do it better next time, I shall attempt to post things that I learn so that you guys can read something substantial and not too fluffy.
People in general have a special place in my life since that is what seems to keep me going at times. Mom wonders about me and why I just *have* to be with my bestest friends, if not meeting new ones.....like all the time. Exciting things can happen when you are with friends that you might not find somewhere else! That's my excuse anyway....
My bestest friend, though, is Jesus.  He is the best thing that could ever be in my life and I feel so sorry for all those people out there who do not have Him in theirs because they'd be so much better off. When I continually mess up the simplest of tasks, whether it be physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually, He repeatedly believes in me and forgives me. I have so much to be thankful for because of who my God is and does for me. That is why I have such excitement in my life, and why I wish to tell about it here so that you who read it can catch the happiness"bug" too!
I guess that was a bit of what I'm about and I don't know if it was enough or too much, but there you have it! I have various ideas of some more interesting posts that are soon to follow!
